PSP activities
PSP
organizes various activities such as workshops, outings (for outdoor
shoots), studio evenings, guest lectures etc. as part of their routine
programme. Last Thursday of the every month is reserved for an
in-house contest in order to charge members with more enthusiasm to
excel.
LIBRARY:
A full fledge photography
library is run by the Society for its members where they can avail
books and magazines on photography ranging from Basic to Advance
Photography, Composition, Study of Light, Colour Photography, Creative
Black & White Photography, Landscape and Still Life
Photography, Portrait Lighting, Image Editing Know How and more. Books
on the concept of Photography as an Art are also provided to the
members adding a feather to cap of artistic skills in their photography.
OUTINGS:
Come every second Sunday and
the Society facilitates an outing, which is the most sought activity
since 8 years for its members. Ajantha Ellora, Panhala Fort, Khidrapur
Temple, Panchgani/Mahableshwar, Ganpati Pule, Lonavla/Khandala,
Matheran, Murud Janjira, Karla and Bhaja Caves, Korigad, Tikona fort and Sinhagad, Wai, Kaas, Mulshi and Panshet lakes, Pavna Dam, Bhigwan, Bhuleshwar ans Baneshwar Temples and also local Pune outings to various important spots are programmed regularly. In these outings the members are guided to make better pictures and given the opportunity to interact their theoretical knowledge in practical photography with participating members.
Matheran, Murud Janjira, Karla and Bhaja Caves, Korigad, Tikona fort and Sinhagad, Wai, Kaas, Mulshi and Panshet lakes, Pavna Dam, Bhigwan, Bhuleshwar ans Baneshwar Temples and also local Pune outings to various important spots are programmed regularly. DEMOS AND STUDIOS EVENINGS:
Demos and studio evenings on
Portraiture, Still life, Table Top, Fruits, Model Photography are held
from time to time and the members are directed to have a better
approach towards these subjects.
